Best walnut burger anywhere! I eat meat, but when I come here, I much prefer the walnut burger. Delicious. Bar is well stocked. Music events they host are great (although it seems like fewer live music events than 1-2 years ago). Pretty much all around, my favorite East side bar.

Charming old bar that appears to be ~100 years old, but still in relatively good shape. They have local music many nights. I've seen many groups I like play here, as well as played here myself. Staff was friendly. It's not extremely convenient, parking, setup, or stage wise, but it's still enjoyable. I've been told the food is very good but I have not had the chance to try any.

Good food, good conversation. A great bar to have a beer and chat with Neighbors. Hot chips and walnut burgers are good go to items for a first timers(even if you eat meat)

We were warned that food would take awhile, so we ordered immediately. When it came, the medium burger was well done and dried out. No seasoning on burger or fries. Waiter was friendly, bartender stern. Beer was cold. Stopped because friends recommended, so will give it another shot and see whether the first experience was a fluke.

Marcus is one of the best bartenders out there. The walnut burger with fried onions and swiss cheese is always the most delicious option. Prompt service, nice people, awesome other patrons to talk to. Go here!!
